Herman Davis is a self-taught chef. Beginning at the apron-side of his father and grandmother he learned well the lessons of “soul” food cooking. His style incorporates traditional and modern flavors that make you feel right at home. The use of fresh, local ingredients and a range of clean meats and vegetarian options provide a broad canvas for Chef Herman Davis’ culinary classics.
Chef Davis regularly shares his home-based pantry adventures in the blog, The Famished Father's Test Kitchen. His wife, Danica, and their three children are well fed (smile).
